About the Practitioner
Kristine's journey in holistic bodywork began in 1999, when she embarked upon a four-year apprenticeship with a Reiki Master and Spiritual Guide. Under this master’s tutelage, she picked up such ancient and alternative healing arts as chakra balancing, core alignment, and meditation. Though each brought Kristine to a new frontier of holistic medicine, her desire to expand the scope of her knowledge and clientele inspired her to pursue another branch of healing: massage therapy. Her unique Integrated Massage Therapy technique allows for a meditative, prayerful, healing experience that relaxes the mind, body, and spirit.
Kristine is exceptionally invested in each of her clients and adjusts the sessions according to their individual needs. Steady positive feedback and pain reduction among clients gives Kristine a sense of gratitude for her work. She specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and has experience with Sports Massage, Geriatric Massage, and Prenatal Massage. She has volunteered as a Massage Therapist to raise money for various charities, including the Monson, MA Tornado Victims in 2011.
Kristine has been a Holistic Health Aid at the Herbarium for 10 years.
